Your message will be recognised by many of the patriots of my age who saw our friends send out to face meat grinders while politicians got rich...it will happen again this summer. I say my own prayer for the warriors who will face the enemy at our door... knowing the enemy could be family members, friends and neighbors.
In late 1972 I took the oath to defend the Constitution of the United States at the Armed Forces Entrance and Examining Station in Detroit. I hope these small essays can help do that to some extent, although they may be somewhat oblique.
Thank you for this encouragment and reminder that we can prevail, which are timely, as events unimagineable to us our whole lives continue unfolding in real time. I agree. They want us demoralized. Let's not give them what they want. Let's continue to fight for for humanity.
