I hale from a time when it was a fact of life. I don't think it's possible for a country to go though an event like WW2 was without one. I would be worried about the possibility that our leaders are not on our side, and what that would mean.

I think you’re probably right about the chaos and destruction thing, that they would want it. The elites aren’t nearly as smart as they think they are. Would you hire one to fix your car?
The threat of being called a conspiracy theorist has been weaponized. If you believe that the vacccccines are dangerous you are an idiotic conspiracy theorist. I think the phrase was intentionally introduced to hinder those who would question an official narrative.

I don't think that people generally are considering a military draft.
Gosh, it is an horrific idea. Not what current generation has been brought up to expect.
Another thought, in WW2 women were not drafted, but many enlisted. They weren't put in combat units, but that doesn't mean they wouldn't get killed.
Women can do anything. Puts women's lib in a new light.
