I get the impression that those leading the charge into our glorious if nightmarish Communist future are a little slow when it comes to understanding how much control they really have. I think they see all of the many police agencies we have, from the local sheriff to the FBI, the National Guard and active military, and think something to the effect of, “There is no way our power can be challenged. Resistance is futile!” The law of unintended consequences is waiting in ambush, but they don't see it. That might be because those already of a collectivist mindset ensconced in the bureaucracy see the country as a pyramid with themselves at the top, though they do see cracks in the edifice and work to patch them up with the occasional unconstitutional law or regulatory edict. Many are arrogant, and the price of arrogance is foolishness. (Thank God for the recent Chevron decision by the Supreme Court, though it will be under attack.)
We have a world wide operation to create a one world Communist society, as evidenced by the world wide coordination during the world wide Covid event. The idea is, I believe, to foist a Chinese type of social credit system on all of humanity, including a controlled digital currency. (Digital currency would allow control over where you can travel and what, if anything, you can buy.)
Things were so well organized that one must suspect the use of artificial intelligence.
They depend at least partially on one of Saul Alinsky's ideas in his Rules for Radicals:
Power is not only what you have, but what the enemy thinks you have.
https://drp314.substack.com/p/alinskys-rules-for-radicals
What may well be happening is that they are believing their own propaganda and think they have more power than they do because of their history of convincing people that they have more power than they do. It's much like the school bully who thinks he's the greatest because he has crafted for himself that mystique, who someday runs into the small kid who takes boxing lessons. Are the Ruling Class smarter than that bully? It doesn't seem like it.
Anyone who has run complex operations can tell you that the law of unintended consequences will bite you, probably more than once. There is a saying among military officers that no plan survives contact with the enemy, and I doubt that theirs will be an exception. They seem to be planning for another round of pandemic subterfuge, and I don't think most people are on board. (And if people start saying “stay safe,’ respond with “stay brave, stay free.”) It's possible that when controls really move into full swing that things will then spin out of control.
When the Communists took control of Russia they thought they could simply control their economy by having their experts control it, but they ran into what Nobel prize winning economist Frederich Hyak, in his famous The Road To Serfdom, called the knowledge problem. They just could not know enough to be able to do so, an unintended consequence.

(I recommend Hyak's book. It explains a lot about how ideas for improving society for the greater good lead to the greater bad.)
"If socialists understood economics, they wouldn't be socialist." ~ Friedrich August von Hayek
Consider the coming 2024 elections here in the U.S. No matter who wins the opposing side will not accept the results. That might be the plan; cause civil unrest to justify bringing in the desired controls. Allowing a crime wave is a usual technique for amassing control since it allows for tightening controls and the seizure of weapons. Has anyone noticed anything like that?

County sheriffs. When our country was formed people had had enough of European sheriffs who, having been appointed by the local lord, could be counted on to do the dirty work of the aristocracy whenever the aristocracy wanted some dirty work done, so the office of sheriff position here was made an elected one, making him more responsive to the people at large and less responsive to the top. (In keeping with the general philosophy of distributed power prevalent within the Constitution). This was an annoyance to many governors during the Covid event, when sheriffs insisted on going on with the business of doing law enforcement rather than being the governors mask and distancing enforcers. (Hence in many places here in Michigan it was still possible to buy garden supplies.)
"Political tags - such as royalist, communist, democrat, populist, fascist, liberal, conservative, and so forth - are never basic criteria. The human race divides politically into those who want people to be controlled and those who have no such desire." ~ Robert A. Heinlein
What would really happen if and when the the federal government starts requiring all local police, sheriffs and national guard to take their side? This is inherently unknowable, but the country was designed to provide a bias against top down solidarity. The states, at least under the Constitution are sovereign entities, who can and do contend with the federal government in courts.
At the link below is a short story entitled What I Saw at the Coup, written by Matt Bracken, which describes an attempt by a group of White House insiders to foment a communist takeover.
https://freerepublic.com/focus/f-bloggers/2929658/posts
Mr. Bracken, a former SEAL officer, boat builder, ocean sailor and writer, posits a positive outcome, mostly due to Americans being an armed people. Though fictional, and one may nit pick the plot, it does show how a coup might be designed and what a hornets nest might result, and he shows what a difference an armed populace could make. We are seeing an attempt to create a totalitarian regime in a country where the people as a whole are far more heavily armed, and believe more in the importance of it, than has been true in any other modern societies.
Success or failure of armed resistance movements against aspiring tyrannical governments greatly hinges on whether of not the populace as a whole supports them. Without it they wither away as fringe outsiders.
The link below is to a Steven Crowder video interviewing historian David Barton on the Second Amendment. It shows how much things have changed, and shows that, indeed, all adults males were expected to be armed and ready for militia duty:
The history of our own nation intervening in foreign countries is illuminating. If our military could be driven out of Viet Nam and Afghanistan, how would they do against a much larger country filled with the worlds best weapons makers? How much of the military would actually support actions to enslave the country?
"[Socialistic] economic planning, regulation, and intervention pave the way to totalitarianism by building a power structure that will inevitably be seized by the most power-hungry and unscrupulous." ~ Friedrich August von Hayek
There is a good chance that, as the plans swing more heavily into play, the law of unintended consequences will rear it's many ugly heads, and there will be bad times afoot. My money would be on the normal Americans in this. Why would they not start a parallel economy based on gold and silver? Being armed, why would they let themselves be loaded into boxcars? But don't underestimate the enemy.
It must have seemed to many during the tine of the American Revolution that resistance was futile, but look how it turned out. Remember, this is nothing new. Powerful people throughout history have tried to arrange for themselves dictatorial powers, with mixed results.
“"Never give in, never give in, never; never; never; never - in nothing, great or small, large or petty - never give in except to convictions of honor and good sense"……..Winston Churchill, Oct 29, 1941
"When you get into a tight place and everything goes against you, till it seems as though you could not hold on a minute longer, never give up then, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn.
When you're down to nothing, God is up to something. The faithful see the invisible, believe the incredible and then receive the impossible.
Where liberty dwells there is my country." ~ Benjamin Franklin

Stay Brave, Stay Free
This is why they've imported a new army of 3rd world thugs with zero loyalty to the Constitution or the American people - once they roll out the service = citizenship; then the mass round up and disarming can(will) begin.
Great article. I have posted what I saw at the coup many times over the years and only got one sort of response. I thought then and still think it was prescient. And I like the ending. With your great explanation of the piece, maybe more people will actually read it.
