In their never ending efforts to brings the joys of a totalitarian nightmare to the human race, the international communist community has been infecting impressionable young people, and some not so young, with a virus of the mind intended to foster the communists leap to power. When you combine this brainwashing with general cowardice and the human desire to go along with the herd we have a cultural mess on our hands. The purpose of wokeness is not to improve the lot of mankind, but rather to help install top down control eliminating personal choice run by an administrative state.

Many will tell you that wokeness is merely consideration for the feelings of others, but there is a difference. You should indeed show consideration for the feelings of others, but wokeness seems more like a type of psychological warfare.

We are told that we must suppress our culture for fear of making visitors or invaders from other cultures uncomfortable, but that sounds like insulting said visitors. It is claimed that they are so childish and thin skinned that they cannot bear to be exposed to another culture, and saying “merry Christmas” to them may harm their delicate emotional balance. In visiting another country would you not be able to withstand the stress of enduring one of their national holidays?

Just writing about wokeness is pointless unless we have some ideas of how to combat it, so here goes. First, recognize the levers being used to drive us there, the knowledge of which will allow us to combat them. Wokeness is one tool for allowing Saul Alinsky's plan to mature.

Saul Alinsky on how to create a socialist state:

1. Healthcare — Control healthcare and you control the people. Point out to all and sundry that there is an attempt to do just that. Doctors now may lose their licenses for giving unapproved life saving care. The idea is that they should responsible to the State, not to you.

2) Poverty — Increase the Poverty level as high as possible, poor people are easier to control and will not fight back if you are providing everything for them to live. The welfare system appears designed to trap people in poverty, presumably for this purpose. It could have been constructed in such a way as to move people out of poverty, but it was set up with 'rungs' of the ladder out of poverty removed.

3) Debt — Increase the debt to an unsustainable level. That way you are able to increase taxes, and this will produce more poverty. We go through life never out of personal debt, and the national debt has skyrocketed. Do we see a pattern?

4. Gun Control — Remove the ability to defend themselves from the Government. That way you are able to create a police state. They never stop beating that drum even though the evidence is that it's clearly not about our safety. You can't really control people until you have the fear of the knock on the door in the middle of the night and being loaded into a boxcar. As long as they need swat teams for that purpose they're not happy, and what about those swat teams anyway?

5) Welfare — Take control of every aspect of their lives (Food, Housing, and Income).

6) Education — Take control of what people read and listen to — take control of what children learn in school.

7. Religion — Remove the belief in the God from the Government and schools.Class Warfare —

8. Divide the people into the wealthy and the poor. This will cause more discontent and it will be easier to take (Tax) the wealthy with the support of the poor.

Just knowing that these are goals for bringing in communism will allow us to see their use when when listening to political BS. Just saying to a clueless friend that maybe the reason the debt is so high is for a purpose, and that purpose is not good, may help dispel the myopia.

Each of the above may be attacked in ordinary conversation.

Wokeness as a weapon depends on human herd instincts and the desire to be seen as wise, compassionate and in step with progress, so the key might be attack on those fronts. Many people want and need a purpose in their lives, and helping to bring in utopia may fill this need, so replacing their purpose of creating utopia with a purpose of living free, or doing purposeful things, would help.

Wokeness is an attack on freedom of speech and freedom of thought:

One of Saul Alinsky's rules for radicals is Ridicule is man's most potent weapon, so think of ridicule as a go to weapon in your arsenal. The idea isn't to attack any given individual with ridicule since that would just make one person mad, but rather to undermine the whole edifice one joke at a time. You might repurpose blonde jokes for this. Change things so that it is un-hip to be associated with leftward thought.

Late night comedy has been using this technique to bring in communism, but I don't think it's working well for them since the communist ideas are too simple minded. They don't seem to mind losing half their audience in pursuit of ideological purity.

One thing to keep in mind is that corporations are probably not actually woke although they may have woke people in dangerously powerful positions. (Anyone want a Bud Light? I hear they've been on sale.) It's all about marketing and presenting the corporate image that they think people like. The idea of the Overtone window is that all ideas acceptable to the public reside inside a given range, the Overton window.

Unacceptable ideas fall outside of the window, but it may be the policy of a political party or some other bunch of busy bodies to work to shift the window so that ideas previously untenable become accepted, as well as making previously acceptable ideas unacceptable. It's another take on the third rule of propaganda, to wit:

The rule of transfusion - manipulating the consensus values of the target audience for one's own ends.

We have the window representing what the people really think, and we have the false one presented to us by the “elites” and the main steam media, telling us that all manner of unthinkable things are now thinkable.. Since they usually pay attention to the false Overton window rather the true one, that's how they present themselves.

Since ridicule is man's most potent weapon, use it whenever the opportunity presents itself.
