Better Living Through Global Totalitarian Nightmare
Throughout history there have been many who wished to conquer the world and control all of humanity, or at least their part of it. One of the latest such groups would appear to be the United Nations, who seem to have gone from seeing themselves as a safety valve for defusing international crises to seeing themselves as the rightful rulers of the world. The World Economic Forum and the World Health Organization are doing their part as well.
If you check out the United Nations website you will be told that Agenda 2030 is all rainbows and unicorns, shown here:
A picture of a paradise is painted. The seventeen sustainable goals from their site are these: An end to world poverty and hunger, peace, good health, quality education, gender equality, clean water, affordable and clean energy, decent work and economic growth, industry, innovation and infrastructure, reduced inequalities, sustainable cities and communities, responsible consumption and production, climate action, life below water, life on land, peace, justice and strong institutions, and partnership for the goals.
Who in his right mind would not want all of these things? But if this sounds to you reminiscent of the promises of Communists you are not alone.

Many people have a sort of psychological need to believe in utopian fantasies, and the UN has a need to promote utopian fantasies so as to promote sustainable development as a means of sustaining the UN.
How do you end world hunger? By directly controlling all food, of course. No garden for you, not to mention hunting. In fact ultimately all farming should be done by UN farms. World poverty? Communism is the answer. We pretend to work and they pretend to pay us. Good health? Our UN controlled doctors are there for everyone, and our death panels will see to it that you get to take that all important Last Ride before it's too late. Quality education? More of what we've seen recently in our nation's public schools, but without a few extras:
They wish to decrease the world population to one billion (or 500 million) which I think means killing off a lot of people. They indulge themselves in the fantasy that they must do so to save the planet, and what could be more fun than perpetrating a monstrous evil and claiming hero status at the same time? (Strangely enough, they have not set an example by killing nine tenths of their own numbers, nor have the “elites” of the world begun committing mass suicide.) The rest of the list mostly comes under controlling where people live so that the geniuses at the UN can decide what's best for us. People will all be moved into cities and not drive so they can be easily controlled. Money will be digital so that what can or cannot be bought and sold is controlled.
So as to bludgeon all of us into compliance “global warming” has been used, which changed into “climate change” when the globe did not properly warm. Why did they expect it to warm? Possibly because we are in a warm period between ice ages, and the Earth has been warming for the last many thousands of year and may be expected to continue until we reach the situation that existed 130,000 years ago, when the ocean levels were much higher than now. This is known by examining coral, such as that on dry land in Florida that dates to that period. Coral under water is used to find the history of sea levels. Since very little can be done to change this situation it can be used to leverage political power if the people can be convinced it is due to them. When a country reaches a modern stage of development I've noticed that the rate of population growth seriously decreases, and may even become negative. If one wanted to solve the “over population crisis” but was not evil the obvious way to go about it would be to promote modernization worldwide, after which the world population would slowly decrease. (It might then be necessary to introduce financial incentives to promote more childbirth at some point.) If it seems to you that the powerful always attack problems, real or imaginary, the solution to which is more power for themselves, you would be right. When the rich and powerful give you reasons why they should have more riches and power, be suspicious.
Apparently Switzerland has been singled out as a roll model for sustainable development:
The closely aligned World Health Organization is busily promoting a proposed treaty that would give themselves power over the internal affairs of countries worl wide, concentrating power in the hands of a few.
Basically their plan is to save civilization by destroying it. They plan to reduce population worldwide to under one billion, constituting the greatest democide the world has ever known. People will be forced out of the countryside and forced to live in 600 square foot apartments where they can be easily controlled. How do you force people off their land? By raising property taxes.
Remember the Bundy Ranch in Nevada, where grazing fees were vastly increased so that ranchers were forced off of their ranches? When the Bundys said no, the feds sent a small army to force them off, but were met by a small army of armed Americans. The Constitution provides for civilian militias for such times.
They wish to eliminate roads in rural areas and increase the cost of personal transportation with a goal to eliminate the ability to travel except on public transportation. Roads will be shut down and most of the land will be off limits to the general populace. (Possibly they will simply cease, or slowly decrease to zero, maintenance on rural roads.)

Leftist Saul Alinsky proposed these steps to bring in a socialist totalitarian state. The UN has taken note:
1) Healthcare — Control healthcare and you control the people
2) Poverty — Increase the Poverty level as high as possible, poor people are easier to control and will not fight back if you are providing everything for them to live.
3) Debt — Increase the debt to an unsustainable level. That way you are able to increase taxes, and this will produce more poverty.
4) Gun Control — Remove the ability to defend themselves from the Government. That way you are able to create a police state.
5) Welfare — Take control of every aspect of their lives (Food, Housing, and Income).
6) Education — Take control of what people read and listen to — take control of what children learn in school.
7) Religion — Remove the belief in the God from the Government and schools.
Class Warfare — Divide the people into the wealthy and the poor. This will cause more discontent and it will be easier to take (Tax) the wealthy with the support of the poor.
Things are not working that well for them. Trucker strikes, farmer revolts, people arming up and getting a clue. One of the best examples of getting a clue is Naomi Wolf:

America went pretty suddenly from 90% of people working on farms to now less than 10%. That has changed us. Farming required that you understand how this world really works. You have to allocate resources. You plant seeds, tend them, wait, and harvest a crop. The people who do better at that will have more seeds to plant next year. People who eat all the seeds will starve next year.
Now, the government takes what productive people produce and gives that to people who have proved that they will produce nothing, people who eat the seed and then ask for more to be given to them.
