We all know feudalism from the past. You had your kings, your queens, your dukes, earls and counts. There were aristocrats and there were the peasants. Pageantry abounded and we could all go and watch the jousting tournaments. Everyone had his place, and steps were taken to make it very difficult to survive without being part of the system.

The world moved on from the Middle Ages into the Enlightenment. We no longer have an aristocracy, and we have the U.S Constitution to at least partially act as a bulwark against it's prevailing. There are of course old and powerful families with great wealth throughout the world, but in addition we in America seem to have developed a new ruling class in the last few decades. They seem to be of the mindset that the peasants are being allowed to run amok, traveling to and fro, and generally doing what they want without the overseeing of said ruling class. An interesting investigation of this phenomenon was written by the late Angelo Codevilla, who explains that those with political or economic power are less and less those with abilities allowing them to move up, and more and more those who are born into it, the very definition of an aristocracy:

Those raised in such an aristocracy are inclined to see themselves as a higher level of being than those of the unwashed masses, and also of those who attain the heights by merit. The thesis of this essay is that we now have an agglomeration of the powerful seeking to re-institute a system of feudalism, or at least a reasonable facsimile thereof. It's not that new of a thought, so don't imagine that it's original with myself.
It's probably just human nature. To them, they are of the highest rank, and like a military unit, everyone should agree that they are, and naturally take orders from them. It might seem to them that they are just readjusting the world to what should be it's natural state, then again, they might have a bit of the bully in them; they think they should be respected, and the fact that they are not is intolerable.
It's doubtful that there is a single large organization orchestrating everything, though the WEF and similar organizations certainly exist, but they probably have different agendas. It may simply be that those with great power and wealth will tend to act similarly. If a thousand bankers do the same thing, is that a conspiracy?
Whether or not they want actual feudalism, I think their idea is that no one should be outside the system. In it everyone has his place and is expected to do as told. One world wide corporation, or perhaps kingdom. Of course, all of this independence of thought and action must go. Rather than everything not specifically banned being all right, everything is banned unless it is specifically allowed.
Let's look at some of the possible means of control. Simply being aware that these things are being used to lock in control will lessen their impact; forewarned is forearmed.
The idea of fifteen minute cities is in vogue in their thinking. You would need permission to travel outside of a prescribed area, a control freak's dream come true. No living relatively free in the countryside; it's to hard to control you there.
Electric cars are not environmentally clean since their power comes from power plants, the electricity is just a mode of energy transfer. The beauty of electric cars is that they can be controlled or shut down remotely. Always refer to electric cars as coal fired cars; though not true in every case, it undermines the deceit. Just the claim that they are non-polluting indicates that a fraud is being perpetrated.
Self driving cars are equally frightening. Presumably, you could be driving along when suddenly the doors lock and the car drives itself to a police station. Similarly, the system could be programmed to not allow driving to certain areas, or just not allowing you to drive at all without first getting permission. If they wanted a lock-down for whatever reason they would just disable all vehicles. Really hard cases might find their cars set to maximum speed with the brakes disengaged.
Digital currency would allow the powerful to decide what you could or could not buy, or even not allow you to spend any money. Your money could also simply be erased. As in the book of Revelation, without a number you could not buy or sell.
Medical tyranny. That has been the recent modes-operendi. Simply declare that there is a medical emergency and certain orders must go into effect. As I write this there is consternation about the Governor of New Mexico, Michelle Lujan Grisham, who has declared that gun violence is a health emergency, and has banned the carrying of firearms for thirty days in parts of New Mexico. (Perhaps like thirty days to flatten the curve.) She has in effect simply made law without input from the legislature. (Of course, another governor might simply declare his state to be a constitutional carry state due to the health effects of people not being able to defend themselves.)
And of course they are constantly and neverendingly trying to disarm the people, and have recently been trying to control speech. Presumably they recognize that the first and second amendments might defeat their plans.
A climate crisis can be used as justification for these controls, but once enough control has been established they won't give justifications.
To really establish control we might find ourselves with a crisis, either manufactured or allowed, so as to allow the imposition of control. To stay out from under their thumbs it's important to be as self reliant as possible, as that will remove many of their levers of power.
Please note a glaring and potentially game changing difference between the new and old aristocracies. The Middle Ages aristocrats were the military elite; knights and sundry members of a martial class. In the face of oncoming warfare they were expected to take the lead and be wise, strong and courageous leaders, leading from the front. (How many were?) The modern day aristocrats have more of a lead from behind mentality; we are in charge of everyone and everything, but don't expect anything from us when trouble comes. This could be their downfall.
Let’s think about what we can do to stay out of the new feudalism.
The gun control acts of 1968 and 1993 have created a pathway for both the registration of all firearms, and at present people with Federal Firearms Licenses, or FFLs, are being driven out of business. If both acts were rescinded our chances of remaining free would improve considerably. (Time has shown that those acts do not improve public safety.)
As an individual, be alert for any governmental actions that might be being used to move us into feudalism. It might be in response to either a real or imagined problem. Do not go along with them if possible. They will be predicated on making people afraid, the idea being that frightened people are easier to control. Remember Benjamin Franklin's saying that those who give up essential liberty for security will have neither. Stay brave, stay free.
The elimination of the First Amendment is being accomplished through the tech companies. It's hard to know what to do about it, but if people are aware of it and work to make more people aware, that should supply some political pressure.
The modern aristocrats hire out their muscle. They have hired security, but that doesn’t really make them safe. Their hired security could turn on them if the times so demanded. Many have bugout locations in far away lands, New Zealand, for instance. In a crisis would their personal pilots actually leave their families alone at home just to fly a rich guy to safety? Would not their security personell simply take over their emergency bunkers? They might or might not allow the old boss to stay with them, but not as the boss.
The point of the above is that the elites do not have as much power as they think they do. Most are not personally competent in things outside of their experience, and they are not really more intelligent than most people. Without the support that their money gives them they are not really very powerful. They are not a match for an armed and free people.
Miracles happen, how else do you explain America defeating England in the Revolution, even with the French?
Speaking of Franklin, consider this, courtesy of A-Z Quotes
When you get into a tight place and everything goes against you, till it seems as though you could not hold on a minute longer, never give up then, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn.
When you're down to nothing, God is up to something. The faithful see the invisible, believe the incredible and then receive the impossible.
Where liberty dwells there is my country.
Stay Brave, Stay Free
Beautiful quote! And a lot of great food for thought on how to be vigilant and stay prepared and fight to defeat these global elites. Keep speaking and sharing the truth. Do not let them move you, literally and metaphorically. Stay armed and never back down on our 1st and 2nd amendment rights and protections.
On a related note: "We The Patriots USA" secured a victory in court yesterday, a stay against the NM Governor's illicit gun ban was issued. It came after NM's courageous AG and a sheriff said they would not enforce such an unconstitutional ban for to do so would break the oath they took to uphold the Constitution. Let's hope their courage spreads.
