As the Antifa rioters of 2020 attempted to expand into less Antifa friendly territory, in June they moved into Coeur D'Alene, Idaho after a festive night of mostly peaceful burning and looting in Spokane, Washington. Being notified by the Spokane police, the civilian population of Coeur D'Alene and the surrounding countryside responded by showing up en mass and armed. Coeur D'Alene escaped the type of destruction that was common in Washington State. A lady who lived there wrote an internet article describing the festivities.

and about two weeks later the same lady published a followup piece:

My opinion is that similar things happened throughout the Northwest, but most towns didn't have an erudite lady to write it up. Antifa would move into the suburbs and be met by scores of armed home owners keeping their homes from being burned down. There were indications of that on the internet and you tube, but it seemed like stories of armed citizens preventing the barbarity were somehow disappearing.
In her second article she asks the question; what is the difference between Coeur D'Alene and Seattle? Why did Seattle allow such goings on? She talks about how they have their own woke types in Idaho who were not happy, but did they think burning down the downtown would improve race relations? Looking over the pictures of the armed citizens we see diversity, so I don't think Coeur D'Alene has a racial problem.
I wondered something a little different; what is the difference between Coeur D'Alene and Spokane? Seattle is in the blue coastal area, but Spokane is only 20 or so miles from Coeur D'Alene, and I doubt that the people are much different from each other. It seems likely that the answer lies in the State's political leanings and the subsequent nature of the political elite and prosecutors. Arson is a capital crime, and people die from it as well having their lively hoods destroyed. In the blue states a person will be in legal trouble for defending against arson, but probably not in Idaho. (Any Idaho legal scholars out there, please help me out.)
Evidently, many people were convinced by media stories that the Coeur D'Alene defenders were White Supremacists. Apparently one is expected to allow vast crimes to manifest if one is thought to have inappropriate views, but the pictures show a significant lack of bias in the defenders. Maybe they just wanted to protect their stuff. I remember an incident in the Ferguson riots wherein a number of mature looking black men picked up their heavy duty weaponry and guarded a white owned gas station, preventing its destruction. The black face of white supremacy, no doubt.
Why such delusions? Whenever an appropriate occasion arises I like to include the list of the five rules of propaganda to try to get them more out in the open. (Please copy and recirculate them as widely as possible, thanks.)
The Five Rules of Propaganda
The rule of simplification - reducing all data to a simple confrontation between 'Good and Bad', 'Friend and Foe'.
The rule of disfiguration - discrediting the opposition by crude smears and parodies.
The rule of transfusion - manipulating the consensus values of the target audience for one's own ends.
The rule of unanimity - presenting one's viewpoint as if it were unanimous opinion of all right-thinking people: draining the doubting individual into agreement by the appeal of star-performers, by social pressure , and by 'psychological contagion'.
The rule of orchestration - endlessly repeating the same messages in different variations and combinations.
As said above, the media on the west coast produced propaganda to the effect that the citizens of Couer D'Alene were white supremacists and racists, but note the black and white guys hugging, as shown in the title picture, after their success. This is a common propaganda theme undermining traditional American culture. This is the type of propaganda that can be called pee-genocidal rhetoric, and is often seen when preparing the stage for the elimination of undesirables. How effective it is is uncertain due to rules 4 and 5, which give the impression that that opinion is
universal.
Then there is Detroit, the blue carbuncle of Michigan. The police chief at the time, one James Craig, was a black man who experienced the Detroit riots while a young lad, then was treated to a repeat as a police officer in Los Angeles. He told Antifa that they could protest all they wanted, but any crimes and they were going to jail. He was backed up by the prosecutor and the Democrat mayor. Thus Detroit escaped. Seattle and Portland could have done the same, but did not. This did not seem to get much media coverage, maybe because it would make it look like the other riots were simply being allowed. (Chief Craig later made a bid for Michigan Governor in the 2022 elections. A black man running as a Republican who saved Detroit from Antifa and is in favor of concealed carry would have been running against the lock-down queen. He was somehow disqualified due to campaign violations. One might almost become cynical.)
We are led to believe that Antifa and Black Lives Matter are organizations of good hearted people striking against racism and injustice. More likely they are operations run by those perpetrating 5G warfare against the peoples of the world.
Who paid for those vans bringing them to town? Who gave them food and shelter? Who gave them training? Before the riots pallets of bricks would show up in the target city. Who sent them there, and why did the FBI not try to track them down? That's the sort of thing they are supposed to be good at. There was some sort of overall coordination by someone, and it was noted by militarily experienced observers that Antifa riots were run like military operations. There would be “captains” in charge of a local riot and “colonels” in overall command, with leaders seen wearing earpieces. Some had colored clothing for identification. They had logistics, communications, security and medics, as well as assigned duties. They would be brought in en-mass by buses across state lines. Ferguson rioters were mostly not people from Ferguson.
That's a few thoughts on the riots. When will they be coming back?
Of course they are coming back for the 2024 election cycle. When Trump is installed, they will go ballistic
I am less than 45 minutes away from Couer D'Alene.
We take out homes and freedom seriously here in Idaho and so do the majority of out Law Enforcement Officers.
We are nor racist or white supremacists, except to the idiot media and other fringe left elements.
We stand behind our Law Enforcement Officers and they stand with us, almost 100%.
Washington, Oregon and California could take a few lessons from us, since the top 3 States people move into Idaho from are those and in the order listed.
We accept everyone as long as they assimilate to our culture. We do not tolerate people who move here and try to make Idaho like the State they moved from.
I should know, I assimilated here almost 21 years ago and was accepted easily. Idaho is the number 1 State in the USA for freedom loving people-just assimilate!
